1. Order Manager
Main responsibility: Manage everything related to customer orders from the moment an order is received until it is ready for delivery.
Duties:
Receive and review new customer orders.
Confirm that customer information and order details are correct.
Check product availability.
Update order status (e.g., New → Confirmed → Processing → Ready for Delivery).
Communicate with customers about their orders when necessary.
Handle order changes, cancellations, or issues.
Prepare completed orders for the Delivery Manager.
Keep accurate records of all orders.
Goal: Make sure every order is correctly processed and ready to be delivered on time.
2. Delivery Manager
Main responsibility: Manage everything related to getting completed orders from the business to the customer.
Duties:
Receive orders marked Ready for Delivery from the Order Manager.
Assign deliveries to delivery drivers/riders.
Organize delivery routes and schedules.
Give drivers the correct customer and delivery information.
Track deliveries and update their status.
Communicate with customers about delivery times when necessary.
Handle failed, delayed, or returned deliveries.
Confirm that customers received their orders.
Keep records of completed and outstanding deliveries.
Report delivery problems to the appropriate person.
Goal: Make sure every completed order reaches the correct customer safely and on time.
